Openly gay actor Jason Dottley accuses Jennifer Lopez’s Manager Benny Medina of attempted rape
In the wake of multiple sexual assault scandals coming to light in Hollywood, actor Jason Dottley has now accused singer Jennifer Lopez’s Manager Benny Medina of attempted rape.
In an article published by The Advocate on Friday, Nov. 10, the 36-year-old actor who was 27 at the time, says he met Medina at a bar in West Hollywood in December 2008 with fellow actor T. Ashanti Mozelle before they went to his mansion with him.
According to the “Sordid Lives” star, while Mozelle was in the pool, he said Medina offered to give him a tour of the home and took him to his master bedroom.
“We literally got to the door and he grabbed me by the chest of my shirt and threw me onto his bed,” and “stuck his tongue down my mouth.”
The openly gay actor who was married to “Queer As Folk” writer Del Shores at the time, says he told Medina to stop by pointing out he was married, but he became more aggressive while trying to force himself on him.
“I’m having you,” Medina allegedly demanded as he forced him down. Dottley says “he started to cry and beg Medina to stop. But the mogul allegedly wouldn’t stop and kept repeating, ‘I’m having you! Oh, I will have you…’”
“His forearm was bearing down on my neck so hard that I don’t know how much longer I would have remained conscious,” Dottley says, claiming Medina was pulling at his pants.
